"For you, O Lord, are my hope,
my trust, O Lord, from my youth"
(Psalm 71:5)

The First Presbyterian youth group meets every Sunday atvarious restaurants downtown.  The purpose of this group is to give the middle and high school students at First Presbyterian an opportunity to fellowship with one another, grow in their faith, practice serving others and generally have a good time. In the past year, we have enjoyed lock-ins, ski trips, interactive Bible studiesparticipating in worship, trips to King's Island, summer trips to Montreat and fundraising for local mission efforts.  Our church is blessed to have such an awesome and active group of youth!  If you are in high school or middle school and are interested in becoming a part of our youth group, please contact Joel to learn more.

Corn Maze!

Our youth group is taking a trip to Devine’s Corn Maze in Harrodsburg, KY. This will be our second time heading out to Harrodburg for a little fun and it is sure to be a blast. There is a lot of stuff to do out at Devine’s farm including zip lines, tube swings, corn hoppers, a giant slide, a petting zoo and much more. We leave after the church service on Sunday, Oct. 6th around noon, eat lunch on the road, arrive at Devine’s at around 2pm and enjoy the farm until it closes at 5pm. We will be back at the church at around 6:30pm.  Youth will need to bring $10 for tickets into the corn maze and money for lunch and snacks at the farm. Zip lining costs an additional $10 and a waiver must be filled out ahead of time. Permission slips can be downloaded below.
