Children's Worship 

During worship each Sunday, First Presbyterian is pleased to offer a program of Children's Worship.  This program is designed for Children in grades 1 through 5.  The goal of Children's Worship is to introduce and familiarize the youth of our church to the concept of worship.  By participating in this program, your child will learn about what worship is, the different parts of the service, the different seasons of the church, how to worship through song, prayer and service, the purpose of the sacraments and how to apply the scriptures to their daily lives.  Each Children's Worship expericence is designed around the lectionary scripture for the week so that there is continuity between the worship experience of the parent and the child.  Children are dismissed for Children's worship immediately following the Children's sermon in the service except on communion Sundays where the children of the church remain in the sanctuary and we worship together for the entirety of the service.  Children's Worship is led by a rotation of volunteers.  For more information on lur children's worship program, contact Joel.
