LIVING WATERS FOR THE WORLD
(Aguas de Viva para el Mundo)

First Presbyterian Church is actively involved in a global mission project called "Living Waters for the World" (LWW).  Living Waters for the World is a mission organization which trains and equips church mission groups and others to share the gift of clean water with communities in need.  As a mission agency of Living Waters for the World, First Presbyterian Church has deployed several mission teams worldwide to build and operate systems which deliver clean water to communities in desperate need.

Living Waters for the World has established regional networks in countries where groundwork has already been laid by previous LWW mission groups.  The purpose of these networks is to identify clean water mission opportunities and to bring initiating and operating partners together whenever possible.

Through Living Waters for the World, the mission teams of First Presbyterian Church have installed clean water systems in Kimbila (a town of about 4,000 in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico), in Yuxcheku (a town of about 250, also in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico), and in Protección (a small village in the mountains of Honduras).  First Presbyterian Church currently maintains covenant relationships with the aforementioned LWW installation sites.

In addition to our international mission teams which work with Living Waters for the World, First Presbyterian Church has established an independent mission program for installing clean water systems.  This mission program is called "Waters of the Living Lord."
